Post subject: New to CP -- help me diagnose what I need for my hair!

I recently swapped on MUA for a Shine Sweetie and I find it's just to rich for my hair. It weighs it down and makes it pretty greasy. :( I am definitely going to get Squeaky shampoo, but I'm leaning towards either Shine+ or Silky Free -- how do I know whether it's the cones or the protien that is weighing my hair down?

It's shoulder length, very fine, and I get dandruff easily (probably because my scalp is so oily). HELP!

Hi!

Welcome to CP madness. :)

As for your hair: I would start with Shine+. It´s both silicone and protein free and the lightest conditioner Bev offers - and it does a great job!
If you´re looking for something a bit richer, go with Silky Free. Maybe alternating between the two (or even all three if you want to keep the Shine Sweetie in the rotation now and then) might work for you?

Squeaky is a great clarifying shampoo. It´s a little too much for daily use for me (fine hair, coloured with henna and prone to dry ends) but depending on your hair it might work..if not, Princess Poo is a great shampoo, too. ;)

Have fun shopping!!

I agree with Evah, I'd start with Shine +. Too many cones don't agree with my hair, either, and Shine + is an amazing conditioner. Maybe you could mix in a little Shine Sweetie with the Shine + every few days if you still want some of the proteins.

I ordered one of each. Mehehee. not Junket, though -- too $$$ and the solid will probably melt/be pulled.

I didn't get Princess Poo but regretting it now... I only wash my hair every 2-3 days because of the oilies so hopefuly Squeaky will be okay.

How´s your hair doing, btw?!
Do you see any change?
