Is there a reason I can't reply to a pm or compose a message? Bev sent me a message and I can't respond so I tried to just compose one to her but it it just says no messages when I click on compose. I can post and reply on the forum just fine.

I adjusted your user permissions. for some reason I can't explain you didn't have any of the default access for the "registered users" group. you should not have any problems composing or replying to pm's anymore, if you do please let me know!
