From the CP site: "Black Velvet ~ A new twist on Lavender essential oil sweetened with vanilla & spiced up with a splash of CocoaPink's amber blend."
Normally I don't care for lavender but this is gorgeous! Admittedly, I do really love the "Naughty" and "Black" note in the CP products but this is just heavenly. It's my current second favorite right after BCPP.

does this have an herbal twang because of the lavender or is it more sweet like sigh?

It didn't seem twangy to me so I'm going to guess it's more like sigh although I haven't tried Sigh yet.

I'm loving Black Velvet. Its such a sexy, soft scent. The lavender is more of a sweet scent, not herbal-y at all. Overall, just very beautiful. I would like to see the lavender just a bit more prominent in it though. Its heavier on the vanilla.

I'm going to agree with Lady_Fire here. I love the scent! I'm a sucker for CP's Black blend, and the scent is perfectly wonderful, but I would love to smell just a touch more lavender out of this. The vanilla tries to overpower everything else!

I took a chance on trying this in a swap based on the reviews here because I'm not a lavender fan and was so glad I did! It's a sexy scent that was a great choice for last year's Valentine's Vixens set.
