Black Friday

Hi there everyone. I wanted to post a few changes and thought it best to do it in a new thread so it doesn't get lost and is easy for everyone to find it. We have decided to mix things up a bit this year and I want to let you ladies know about it first.

First of all Black Friday was absolutely amazing last year, but we were barely able to get the orders finished in time for the holidays and we had no time to shop for our families we were so busy. So this year we have decided to move Black Friday up a week. This way will be able to hopefully have enough time to get all the orders out in plenty of time for everyone. We will have it on the 18th of November and we have also decided to push the release of the gift sets to this day as well. We will only offer the sets on BF, there will be two sets one will be a Holiday Candy Set and the other will be called Over the River and Through the Woods... Set. The holiday scent list will be released either tonight or tomorrow. I am still typing and have to do some programming on the site as well so I am not positive on how long all that will take.

Other things to note on Black Friday and through the end of the year. There will be a fee of $2.00 for purchases to be gift wrapped in order to cut down on turn around time. Also, sample requests will only be honored for scent selection or product selection if available. We spend hours making custom samples and through the end of the year, we will not be able to do this. If you would like to sample a scent, you will receive a perfume vial of that scent. Same with products, you will get a random product but not in a specific scent. So please be mindful of this on the sample request box, we don't want to hurt anyone's feelings by not giving them what we want. We just won't have time.

I think that is everything. If not, I will update this post with more details as they become available.

I am *super* excited by the sound of the 'Over the River and Through the Woods' set!! that sounds exactlylike the sort of thing I was pining for (unintended pun) in the other thread! :D Thanks for the update!

By the way, re: samples - I think most of us would consider ourselves lucky just to have the opportunity to specify what scent, or what product, we'd like to try at all! With most companies, IF they do samples at all, they're usually not for free and you very rarely get any say in what you're given.
You couldn't hurt our feelings, we're spoiled rotten!

Do we get a sneak peek at the scents in the sets or will it be a surprise?
I am usually taking a LOOOONG time to plot the BF order and it would helpe me immensely if I knew what´s in the sets. Also, I am extremely curious.

Will the setup be similar to last year? A certain percentage off of certain amounts?

Hi all! Okay the scent list is up. All the scents for the winter/holiday are listed. Including the scents that will be in the sampler sets. It is quite possible that I could have forgotten some, so if I did, I will add them to the list once reminded. :0) I decided to keep all the Halloween scents up a little longer since I have gotten so many requests to do so. Also, on Black Friday I will once again open the scent list up for that one day only and you will be able to customize as well. I haven't completely decided on what I am doing for the sale, I am still working on that. If you all would like to weigh in, have at it! I like suggestions.

Will you be offering them as tarts as well?
I would love a percentage off or maybe buy three get one half off or something like that?

Just out of curiosity, was Unscented removed from the drop down list intentionally? Will be it added back soon? I love the unscented option...

I can't wait to see what the sets will be because it will be difficult to narrow down my choices from that great scent list! As for the sale, I'd like to see a percentage off, as already suggested.

This list is amazing!!! I'm so excited!! Thanks for having some of the best smelling body products I have ever owned! Looks like it's going to be a $200+ order for me! (My fiance said to order what I wanted for Christmas! hehe)

Also, is this list going to be up all day on Friday? I get out of work pretty late and I don't want to miss out on anything!

Could you give us an idea of how many sets will fit (if they fit) in a small flat rate box/envelope for mailing? Or maybe one set + a bit of room for a couple of wee things?
Just to help plan orders ahead of time and not be trying to ask you in the middle of everything else. ;D Thanks!

I am sorry Bowea, with all the disasters yesterday I didn't even get a chance to see your post. I am pretty sure 2 sets should fit in an envelope.

And everyone else, I am so sorry for the horrible sale yesterday. I really thought the new website was going to be so much better than the old one. I think it was worse.

Was it so much trouble?
I only had minor glitches like the cart emptying twice but checkout went fine and that sometimes was a problem with the old site.

I am sorry to hear it didn´t go more smoothly.
