I've never smelled the "original" of this dupe, but Beverly's dupe is a gorgeous vanilla-patchouli-jasmine combination. Yes, it has patchouli, but speaking as someone who does not like patchouli, the p-note is subdued and simply lends a soft backlight to the vanilla and jasmine. The dry down is a very comforting vanilla tinged with the other two notes, and is light enough for summer use. I tried this out of curiosity, and am very glad I did! On days I want something "different," this is the one I've been turning to.

To me this smells like a peppery vanilla, def. on the unisex side (it has a slight cologne-y aspect) which I adore! I really, really LOVE this scent (don´t know the original either) and I am glad it´s back in rotation. Eva

I've got a Bendel candle in the Vanilla Bean scent, and I've gotta say this matches the scent exactly! It's got a little bit of a smokey tone with tons of creamy, simple, sweet vanilla. It's not a sugary vanilla at all. I love it!

This is my mom's favorite Bendel scent. I bought her a small linen spray with my last order and I gave it to her yesterday. I thought she would go nuts. She said it smells exactly like her candle. I am so glad that she liked it since now I know what to get her for her birthday in November.

This scent is absolutely gorgeous! While I love the foodie scents, I adore a spicer unisex scent. This is right up my alley.
I have it in the SS and EWB and I love it!

I huffed the candle a while back and when I saw that Beverly had it available, I jumped on it and ordered it in the VBB... It was exactly as I remembered, so I went back on and ordered more product in this. It IS a super-sexy vanilla, and I'm not a huge vanilla fan, but this one I adore...
